Hi — I’m H, the person behind Curiosettee.

I’m a geomatics engineer, self-taught developer, data analyst, and writer with a deep interest in the intersection of technology, creativity, and the way we communicate ideas. I’ve spent years building products, assisting technical teams in various setups (startup, corporate, research, government), analyzing data, and writing for developers.

This space exists because I kept encountering the same problem: the best thinking about technology was scattered across a thousand different corners of the internet, wrapped in noise and optimized for engagement rather than understanding.

Curiosettee is my attempt at the alternative — long-form writing that takes ideas seriously, tutorials that actually explain the why behind the how, and a professional showcase that reflects the interdisciplinary nature of my life’s work. It’s a diverse mix of content.

The Philosophy

I believe that the best technology writing shares three qualities:

Honesty about complexity. Not every problem has a clean solution. I’d rather give you the real trade-offs than false simplicity.

Respect for your time and intelligence. You’re reading because you want to learn something or get something done.

A point of view. Neutral, hedged writing about technology is usually not very useful. I have opinions, I’ll tell you what they are, and I’ll try to explain why I hold them.

Background

I’ve worked across the stack — building data pipelines, architecting frontend systems, and writing the documentation that explains all of it. I’ve shipped to production at startups and scale-ups, and I have done both collaborative work and one-man team implementations.

I write here because I believe the thinking-by-writing model is one of the most effective ways to actually understand something. Everything I publish has helped me learn something I didn’t know before.

This blog is also my digital couch for all my initiatives in learning in public, a digital garden or second brain that may benefit future generations.
