Being a type A for most of my life, I find it masked and easy in my early twenties and teens. Metabolism was high, I own my time before having children, and I did not have the same responsibilities beyond study and what is expected of younger people. Switching to a softer hustle in my forties is a completely alien concept, but one welcomed greatly by my nervous system. I have been frying my nervous system for years in the altar of productivity. These days, I learned to learn in public, align with my north star, and revisit my approach to how I live life and learn, not just exist or stay in a corner in an unbalanced way.

There are certain joys to building in my forties. I feel unhurried, but no less accomplished than when I was losing sleep and grinding non-stop a decade or two earlier. In my career, I have had the privileged of mentoring some willing people as well and assisting them in their respective journeys in the nerdgasms that fulfill me tremendously.

I built this website because I wanted to synthesize what I have learned and document what I continue to learn. Every individual in the world deserves for their story to be told, and my narrative is no exception. I finally have a dedicated space for tutorials, musings in the blog (the way I have always done it), and a way to be reachable to the outside world even during my designated social media detox or hiatuses.

So here is to life beginning at forty by way of creating with Curiosettee.
